  • AOPEN 40X CDROM
  • MSI Geforce4 Ti5700 Graphics card w/Detonator driver 27.20
  • ATi 8500 w/4.13.9017
  • Nanya DDR333 256MB DDR
  • Channelwell 375W AMD Approved PSU

Update : The graphics card used in the comparison is a 8500 Radeon and not a 8500 RadeonLE as indicated in the graph.

Quake 3 Demo 1

Quake3 is probably the one of the most important software to be used for testing graphics cards. In our test, we ran the test at least 3 times to obtain a stable sustained result. In our chart, we compared the GF4 Ti4600 against an ATi Radeon8500. We can see that the results of MSI are exceptionally impressive at high resolutions. At 800x600x32, the difference is 2%. At 1280x1024x32 MSI GF4 Ti4600 lead by around 18%.
