The Package / Barebone

The DiGiDice came in by UPS and I was shocked by the huge package. I thought ABIT send me one carton of boards for me to test. Phew, luckily it is not. It is the ABIT DiGiDice SFF Box.

The package has many boxes within, and it includes a carrying bag, the DiGiDice itself and another box with all the accessories e.g. heatsink, cables etc all in.

Here is how it looks like. Does it look like a stereo set. It has a Shuttle Control which is also double up as a power on/off switch. It it also use to Overclock (5 levels by turning knob) and volume control level. The panel on the right is a panel can be opened. Pressing the knob for 7sec powers down the system. I don't seem to find a reset button anyway.

You can load two CDROMs, one CDRW + one DVDROM. There is ample space. Below it is the card reader for your multimedia needs.

4 instant access buttons for easy access to commonly used functions The one on the extreme right is the infra red for remote control.

From left to right : Video control - to invoke WinDVD, Audio Control toggles WinRIP, Photo Control - WinXP Photo Browser and Copy Control toggles CD-R/CD-RW copy program (cloneCD). The last is the infrared receiver sensor.

SD and CF Card reader

Front panel connectors include microphone, headphones, 2 USB and 1 Firewire

Noticed the three slots? That is to enable you to fit in your ABIT OTES series of graphics card since it takes up 2 slot space.

The back panel has the usual keyboard, mouse, Video, audio connectors, LAN and 2 USB ports
