  ECS L7S7A2 SiS 746 Mainboard Gallery (2)
Overclocker 31 Jan 2002

If you need a board that has the complete basic connectors, L7S7A2 provides that for you. At the back panel, we see 1 x IEEE 1394, 4 USB 2.0 and 1 LAN port. The rest needs no further introduction. e.g. connectors for 6 ch audio.

Cmedia 9739A chipset is used on this board. The clk gen is ICS 952701BF.

This is the SiS 746 North Bridge. According to ECS, this new chipset supports FIX PCI/AGP at 33/66 by default. Thus if the board provides overclocking features of FSB, you can ignore the dividers as they're not relevant. You can increase the FSB and the PCI and AGP is fixed at 33Mhz and 66Mhz. In our tests, we ran a AMD 2700+ at 166/166 (sync DDR333) and 166/200 (async DDR400) at CAS 2 Ultra.
