EPoX 4PCA3+ i875 Canterwood

Almost every 1st and 2nd tier manufactures Canterwood boards. EPoX didn't left out this opportunity to show their utmost R&D efforts in pursuing the dream board of choice for workstations. Being one of the players producing overclocking boards, it is somehow unbelievable that they do high end boards as well.

EPoX 4PCA3+ is definitely one of the good choices if you are looking for a good workstation class board. Why I said so is because, this board comes with the necessary expansion capabilities like almost any Canterwood boards. The major difference is that this is the only board so far that uses HPT374 and support 4 channels of IDE for RAID 0, 1, 1+0 and RAID 5! That is to say this board can possibly hook up to more than 12 HDs. There is also 2 SATA ports for your SATA HD which can be paired to form a RAID 0 array supported by ICH5R.

The PowerBIOS (overclocking capabilities) is very complete and the Debug LED + watchdog timer makes it a workstation overclockable board. (we do not recommend that). The rest of the features on this board are quite similar to most Canterwood. e.g. Gigabit Ethernet, Dual Channel DDR400, USB 2.0.
