The Package

Gigabyte GO-M1600A is a 16x DVD-ROM with something added on. This is probably the first device that allows you to tune in to the FM radio or play the CD Audio or MP3 disc without the need to power up your PC. This is possible because the device is powered up by a separate power.

Other than that, this DVD-ROM has 5 EQ settings available which are Flat, Rock, Pop, Classic and Jazz. It also and supports the SRS(o)WOW, TruBass, 3D, Stereo. You can even set the depth (0 to 2) and Punch (0 to 3) for WOW.

The box package

A daughter card, remote control, cables for connecting the DVD-ROM to daughter card, power cord and power adaptor for powering up the device.

Daughter Card that supports the DVD-ROM audio bypass and FM antenna. The Blue connector is connected to the PC's Sound card Audio Out. The Green port is connected to the front speakers. The last connector is for FM tuner antenna.
