NEC e606 Review (1)
Jam July 2003

Looks

At first glance the NEC e606 looks massive in fact it is quite big, after opening the flip and seeing that huge screen which is so vibrant I new why it was so big, Lets get onto the looks since in today’s life looks and fashion matter just as much as features and use ability.

Here we have a picture of the phone with flip ¾ open as you can see a very nice and bright screen. And smooth running keypad.

Here is a picture of the front flip (closed) and as you can see it has a small “3” logo encased behind a piece of plastic. The “3” logo changes colour depending on which angle light hits it.

As you can see it does not look like the average flip phone in fact it’s far from it. If you look closely at both pictures you can see it has two camera’s one on the outside flip and one on the inside flip above the screen. Now you may ask yourself why would it need two cameras? Well the reason for this is because this flip phone is a 3G videophone, which adds to the fashion and looks of the phone.

Buttons, Ports and Connectivity

The phone has 23 buttons and two buttons can be pressed at the same time, which is a first for me. The navigator buttons are made of hard plastic but the Num pads buttons are made from soft rubber
