BIOS (3)

In DRAM configuration, you can customise the ram timings, async settings etc. In this screen we set it to 200 that means we run CPU:FSB=1:1. You can run it at Async mode when overclocking your FSB but want to run your memory at a ratio of that. This is important if you do not have DDR600 to run 1:1 but you can still run your DDR400 at around 400+ but your CPU is at a FSB of 300. Tcl or CAS Latency. we ran our test system at CAS 2 for both normal and overclocking test. I am not sure if CAS 1.5 will really help. I haven't seen any CAS 1.5 RAM in the market :)
RAS# to CAS# delay, we set it to 2 Min RAS# active time, we set it to 5 in our tests.
Tcp, we set it to 2 Scrolling down, there are more options in the DRAM Configuration. We found out that just by setting the RAM timings will not maximise performance. We will tell you more on how to tune your performance in the next few pages.
