First of all, lets take a look at the board layout. This board has a clean layout as we can see from the picture below. There are 2 PCI slots, 3 PCI-E x 1 and 1 PCI-E x 16. On the right hand corner, we see the Socket T at the centre, we see a huge Foxconn heatsink which is attached to the 925x core.

On the bottom left hand corner we see the South Bridge ICH6R supporting 4 SATA ports RAID. The IDE slot is supported via the south bridge but as in most 915 boards, it only offers one IDE channel. Thus if you only have IDE devices, you can hook your CDROM and HDD here for initial installation. There is VIA 1394 support (orange port next to PCI-E x 1 slots). Gigabit Ethernet is supported by RTL 8110-S chip on board . ALC880 Audio codec is used.

When we review this board, we came across the news of recall of major vendor's boards as there are flaws in the ICH6. I have confirmed with Foxconn and they told me that their batch of South Bridge are not affected. As we do not have 4 SATA HDD, we are unable to test that.
