The single chipset mainboard uses an active heatsink to dissipate the heat using a thermal pad. Next to it we can see 4 SATA ports are NCQ enabled and RAID 0,1,0+1 supported by the NVIDIA chipset. The other 4 ports to its left are supported by the SiliconImage 3114 chipset which can be configured to do a RAID 0 (striping), RAID 1 (mirroring) and RAID 1+0 (mirrored stripe)

On the right hand bottom corner of the board we see 4 DIMM slots supporting up to 4GB of memory running in Dual Channel DDR400 mode.  On top of it is the infamous Socket 939.

The board also supports 2 PCI slots, 1 PCI-E x16 (or 2 PCI-E x 8) slot and 2 PCI-Ex1. Dual BIOS is implemented to prevent bad flashes. The board is based on a 3 phase design with separate +12v and ATx connector. The blue slot on the right is the D.P.S. slot.

Firewire 1394b is supported by the TI chipset on board. Dual LAN uses a Marvell Yukon®-EC 88E8050 PCI Express™
Gigabit Ethernet Controller
a PHY from SimplyPhy. 8 ch audio is available through the Realtek ALC850 chipset.

In the middle of the two longer PCI-E slots is the SO-DIMM like connector which you could rotate and insert it to support NORMAL (single gpu) or SLI (dual gpu) mode.
