Conclusion:

Overall, the X800 Pro has proven to be a fine high-end card. Not only is the frame rate performance pretty impressive, but so is the visual quality and stability of the card. Like ATI’s other board partners, Gigabyte has not reinvented the wheel with their Radeon X800 Pro model : as we mentioned earlier, it’s using the same reference board design everyone else is using. While this may be a little disappointing to enthusiasts, this at least ensures you’re getting a board you can truly depend on.

The bottom line is that this is one of the best values currently available in the high-end segment, and may even have a few RADEON 9800 XT and GeForce FX 5950 owners regretting their purchase.

Pros:

• Good software bundle
• Performance
• Features
• Stability
• Small size

Cons:

• Price
• Could be quieter
