Sony Ericsson K700i Triband Camera Phone Review (1)
MatthewF 25 Aug 2004

A few months ago, the successor to one of the most wildly successful mobile phones seemingly of all time was announced. The replacement to Sony Ericsson’s T610 was on its way to the public after much rumor (originally thought to be called T650) and anticipation among the SE community, and this phone was called The K700.

Although it seems Sony Ericsson hasn’t made much of a formal announcement of its official release, back a few months when the phone was unveiled along with a number of other models, the projected release date does seem to match up with the fact that it’s appearing on the market now.

A number of users have been obtaining the new Sony Ericsson K700i (the ‘i’ denotes ‘international’…or K700c if you’d like the Chinese version) through eBay or local phone shops around the world. I received my model in particular direct out of Hong Kong (and it made its way to the States in merely 2 days! I was impressed hehe!).

So let’s have a look at this new gem from Sony Ericsson. Here’s the official specifications list of the mobile:
