Bluetooth 13 Sep 2005

The board comes with 2 PCI, 2 PCI-Ex8 or graphics cards, 2 PCI-Ex1 which allows for future expansion cards. The power on board is based on a 3 phase design. If you notice, there is no selection slot to change between SLi and non SLi mode. This is because the board actually hard wired 2 PCIe slots at 8x. If you are running a single PCIe, it is actually runing at 8x and not 16x. Behind the slots are I/O controller chip, audio codec and at the centre you will see the GbE PHY chip. Further right, you will the 3 phase power and 2 DDR400 slots supporting up to 2 GB of DC-DDR400.

Further down to the left, you will see power and reset switch with the Diagnostic LED and BIOS chip. Next to it is the 4 SATA II ports and 2 IDE ports. At the centre of the board is the NF4 SLI chip itself and to its right the Socket 754.

The back panel consists of PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, SPDIF, 4 USB ports, 1 x GbE port and 6 ch audio ports.
