Sony Ericsson K750 Triband GSM 900/1800/1900 Camera Phone Review (3)
Bluetooth 7 March 2005

Multimedia

The built in 2mpixel camera allows photos to be taken at various resolutions. Large (1632x1224), Medium (640x480), Small (160x120). There is a Night Mode and Effects allows you to take pictures with add on effects  like Black & White, Negative, Sephia, Solarise. Something new is the macro mode. This mode allows you to take pictures of text on small objects. e.g serial numbers on barcodes.

The camera comes with photo light which can help lit up dark the object. It is also possible to add on the external flash to take photos in dark environments.

Connectivity

K750i has bluetooth, infra red and USB connectivity which I can use to transfer images easily. The phone has a internal memory of 32M and can store multimedia clips on memory stick duo (up to 2GB). It also comes with mediaplayer which can playback mp3/AAC/Video).

Transferring of images, ringtones and Java apps are easy as you can choose to use the infra red, bluetooth, USB or via GPRS. The relevant file types are automatically dumped into the correct directories which you could access them via the file manager. The same applies to jar files.

Ringtones

K750i MP3 ringtones are very loud when set to MAXIMUM level of 8.Vibration alert on the other hand is a bit weaker compared to Siemens S65 or the Nokia 6600. If you do not want MP3, you can use the standard MIDI or AAC as an alternative.
