abit FATAL1TY AN9 32x

abit makes a strong comeback under the new company Universal abit. With its new management in place, abit is ready to make waves in the mainboard era with its FATAL1TY series of mainboards.

Based on the new ultra high-end NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI that offers more than just plain speed. With Dual 16x PCIe lanes, the board is able to tap the power of SLI to enhance game play and improve frame rates with the help of EPP modules from Corsair.

This mainboard supports the latest dual core AM2 CPUs with DDR2-800 support. It comes with a 7.1HD audiomax riser card which supports S/PDIF optical in/out. On top of that, it is equipped with Dual GbE for utmost network performance. Dual FireWire ports connect consumer electronic devices, such as DV-cameras and provide transfer rates of up to 400MB/s. There are also 10 x USB ports and 6 x SATA 3G connectors present next to endless upgradeability while SATA RAID maintains the highest data security for mission critical tasks. To protect our environment, the Fatal1ty AN9 32X is fully RoHS compliant and manufactured with 100% lead-free components only.

On the mainboard itself, the board uses 100% Japanese made solid state capacitors and special PWM layout ensure an ample and clean current to the power-hungry dual-core and multi-GPU systems of today.

Unique abit engineered technologies, such as OTES, SLIstream uGuru and optional Guru Panel keep your components healthy while providing total system monitoring and control. You can also use uGuru to overclock the system within WIndows.
