The last chipset from ULi - M1697 which features state of the art functionalities that challenges the big boys at a fraction of the cost.

Realtek ALC888 audio codec

The connectors for hooking up SATA cables. The eSATA2 header will not fit into normal SATA headers, it requires this connector to convert it over.

Realtek RTL8201CL Fast Ethernet PHY
 
HDMI_SPDIF1 connector for connecting the audio output to a HDMI graphics card so that audio can be channeled out through HDMI to the LCD TV.
