PCmark2005 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

From the chart above, it is not difficult to see that the ASUS P5W DH Deluxe based on the 975X is speedier than the rest. This is probably due to 1MHz difference. Compared tot he P5W DH Deluxe, the ASRock ConRoeXFire-eSATA2 seems to peform pretty well based on the 945P chipset. With the ASRock Conroe945G-DVI with integrated graphics, the benchmarks scores drop to 5171 largely due to 3D tests pulling down the final score. When the board is paired up with a ASUS 7900GT TOP, we see that it scored 7851 which is just a few points behind the Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 mainboard.
