Introduction

The chart below shows the results of the few games when PCIe bus is overclocked to 140MHz using X1600 Pro CrossFire on Core 2 Duo 1.866GHz (7 x 266).

Intel Core 2 Duo processors has locked its multiplier. In this case, the only way to o/c is to push the CPUCLK. In the sample, it is shown that it can reach a FSB1500 (375MHz) with RAM speed running at DDR750 running in SYNC mode.

It seems that the o/c is pretty good. Newer revisions should be able to hit higher FSB.
