ATi's card has never failed to impress with its stunning image quality. The X1950 Pro integrates AVIVO technology to deliver latest HD video formats and is HDCP ready. Depending on manufacturers, they might produce models leaving out HDCP for cost reasons.

X1950 Pro is also MS Vista Ready with its graphics hardware WHQL certified for Windows Vista for optimum performance and reliability. It is also ready to deliver the premium Windows Vista including the Aero Interface.

ATi's X1950 Pro also supports the new Folding @Home clients for ATI GPUs.

Image Quality & Performance

From the chart below, it can be seen that the difference in performance at high resolutions with AA and AF turn on. The performance of the X1950 Pro is up to almost 30% higher than that of the 7900GS.
