Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 (NV 570 SLI) AM2 Mainboard Reivew Benchmarks 2/8
Bluetooth 25 May 2006

Benchmarks

In this test, we measured the CLK used by the boards. Both the ASrock boards are run at CAS 5, 5-5-10, 2T 8 beats while the ASUS and EPoX were tested at 1T cmd 8 beats. The boards default clock spans from 200 ~ 202 with EPoX MF570 SLI running at 200.9MHz. Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 runs at 201.00MHz which is still within the acceptable range.

With that in mind, we take a look at the memory benchmark scores using Sandra 2007. Looks like the EPoX engineers got the BIOS tuned quite aggressively and we see a very good score for this benchmark at 7319/7329. In fact it is higher than the ASUS 590 SLI board we tested earlier. The Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4's BIOS is also well tuned for performance. These levels are recorded based on ram timings CAS 5, 5-5-10, 1T cmd DDR2-800.
