Interface and Functionality

The N91's interface is similar to the other Symbian phones available. There is a Menu button which you will have access to the installed applications on the phone. A 5 way navigation button for maneuvering around the icons. There is a clear button and a pencil button for switching input languages.

Below are some screen shots of the interface. Applications that appeared on N70 like Quickword, Quickpoint, Quicksheet, PDF viewer are missing from the N91. This is probably because the phone is a Music phone. Visual Radio, Music, Services, Clock, Camera are the commonly used functions on the N91.

Clicking on the web icon on the main screen will bring you to search for an access point (WIFI) or you can pre-configure it to take your 3G connection as default. If the access point is WEP encrypted, it will challenge you with the WEP key. Otherwise, you can surf the net just like what you normally do on a notebook or PDA, albeit on a small screen.
