5th OCWORKBENCH Readers' Award

Best Overclockers’ Graphics card

In the graphics card department, ASUS can be said to be one of the fastest to release the newest graphics cards based on the newest chipsets. It could be this reason that it has a wider acceptance level among our readers.

Comnig back to the most overclockable cards. ASUS takes the lead with its X1950Pro card while PowerColor which uses the same chipset scores a second. Gigabyte 8800GTX took the third placing.

Best Cost/Performance Graphic card

It is a surprise to see high end chipsets being nominated and scored the top 2 positions. It seems that definition of C/P ratio has changed over time. In this case, we see that the ATi series X1950Pro card from Sapphire won the Gold. Inno3D which is hardly seen in this part of the world scored a Silver and PowerColor X1600XT scored the Bronze award.

Best Graphics Card Packaging

Whether a card can sell better wil also depend on the art work and packaging. In this category, readers looks at what is inside the box.

ASUS and Gigabyte did not surprise me as their packages are usually full of surprises. Games, video splitter boxes, cables are plenty. The ASUS scored a Gold followed by Gigabyte and ATi.
