There are a lot of restrictions placed on Smart phones, PDA's, PMP's and MP3 players, such as slow bandwidth, poor viewing, sound quality. With the Q1, it is possible to have a better "PDA" and yet a lightweight machine that can work just like a notebook. That is what convergence of technology is all about.

The Q1 offers you the freedom and flexibility to go anywhere and do everything.

Q1 can be run in Windows mode or in the AVS station mode. With a slider power on, you can choose to power up the Q1 in either mode. With the AVS Station, you can experience movies, photos and music the touch of a button, without starting windows. The player supports all the popular formats without you downloading new codecs. Even with new codecs available, you can always download and install it or you can use your own player like Realplayer or BSplayer for your own DiVX movies.
 


Connectivity


The Samsung Q1 is equipped with Bluetooth, Ethernet and 802.11b, This allows instant access to broadband networks be it via WIFI or through a hotel room. The bluetooth also allows seamless transfer of files from your handphone and vice versa.

The Q1 is preinstalled with Microsoft® Windows XP Tablet OS. The processor is a Intel® Celeron M 900MHZ. A 7" LCD screen gives stunning picture quality which with little reflection. The Q1 can be used as a tablet pc as well.

Weighing just 779g and 24.5mm deep, it is just like a student notepad in your hands. The Battery Life Take advantage of enhanced power-management features to use your Q1 away from your desk for longer periods of time with up to 3.5 hours* life on the standard battery and an astonishing 10 hours with the power bank.
