A 5 way navigation joystick is located at the centre of the phone for instant access to the various functions of the phone. There are 2 other buttons, one is the BACK (navigating to the upper menu) key and the other is the "C" clear for clearing text in SMS.

The usual icon based interface. The options are PlayNow, Internet, Entertainment, Cyber-shot,  Messaging, Music PLayer, File Manager, Contacts, Video Call, Calls, Organizer and Settings	Under Entertainment, you can access the Radio, 3D Games, Video Player, VideoDJ, PhotoDJ, MusicDJ, Remote control(thru BT) and record sound.
Under Messaging, there is a RSS Reader. This makes use of the GPRS or 3G to download the latest RSS news	The Equaliser for tuning up your Music files during playback
On K800i, there is an update service which allows you to update the phone OTA.
