After we are done with the firmware update, we removed it from the DSS-25, insert the SIM and battery. Power it up and check the software version again.

The firmware has been upgraded to R2AY004. This is all done within 35 minutes or so. Simple isn't it. It definitely saves you a trip to the service centre to get it updated.
