A 5 way navigation joystick is located at the centre of the phone for instant access to the various functions of the phone. There are 2 other buttons, one is the BACK (navigating to the upper menu) key and the other is the "C" clear for clearing text in SMS. Two more buttons for menu selections and two more for video call and 3G direct access respectively. 3 other buttons are for direction access to video calls, menu and audio/video menus.

During startup, you are prompted to start in Music only or Phone. In Music mode, the device will act like a Mp3 playback device only. It is made in such a way, you can listen to your favourite music in areas where usage of phones are prohibited. e.g. hospitals	The usual icon based interface. I find the response a bit laggy. Well that could be due to the multitasking OS of the phone. At least it allows you to continue listening to your mp3 while reading SMS.
