DOOM 3

In DOOM3, we take take a look at various AA + AF combinations of the ATI Radeon 2900XT, NV 8800GTS, NV 8800GTX and ATI X1950XTX.

We noticed a big difference in the scores of this NV heavily optimised game. With the 8800GTX, we are getting almost 200fps at 1600x1200 with no AA/AF. 54.5 at 16xQ AA+ 16XAF and 71.6 at 8xQ AA + 4x AF.

The ASUS EAH2900XT is not a match for the 8800GTX card. It only scored 116.9fps at 1600x1200 with no AA/AF. At maximum AA/AF or 8xAA+16xAF, it scored 47fps while at 4xAA+8xAF it scored 71.9.
