Futuremark 3DMark2005

With 3Dmark05, we benchmarked the card using the configuration shown on page 1. From the chart, it can be seen that 3Dmark05 scores tends to be better on Radeon cards. At the original GPU Core/mem setting, it scored 6932. The original X1650XT scored 7967.

We used Winclk to overclock the card and it reached a maximum of 574/614Mhz. Beyond that, GPUCLK/MEM, the game F.E.A.R can still run but 3Dmark05/06 will abort with errors.

In fact, the GPU can reach the levels of the X1650XT at 575MHz. The disappointing fact is that the ram could go beyond the 620MHz which puzzles me. For the original X1650XT, it can clk to 620MHz for GPU clk while the X1650GT in this review can go to 575Mhz but could not go beyond the 580MHz mark without an error.
