The full ATX sized mainboard is finished in the traditional Gigabyte's blue. From the left of the mainboard, we can see the standard connectors for audio, next to it is the i/o controller. There are 2 PCI slots, 3 PCIe X1 and two full length PCIe x16 slot (16+4) on board. The centre of the mainboard is the P35 North bridge which is attached with the Silent Pipe which interconnects to the south bridge ICH9R and the Mosfets on the right hand corner of the mainboard.

Surrounding the CPU socket is the Ferrite Core choke for lower power loss. The solid caps prolongs the operation lifetime of the board. Below it we can see 4 x DDR3-1333/1066 DIMM slots which allows memory expannsion to up to 8GB of memory.

At the left hand corner of the mainboard, we can see the yellow coloured connectors for USB brackets. The purplish SATA and  Green IDE slot is supported by the seperate chipset which supposedly a Jmicron JMB363. The orange SATA II ports are controlled by ICH9R south bridge allowing SATAII RAID 0,1,0+1,5. Below the 2nd PCI slot is the TI 1394 controller.

Right at the bottom of the PCB, we see a golden colour Crazy Cool plate right below the CPU socket. At the rear panel, you will find the PS/2 Key board/mouse,COM1, LPT1, S/PDIF connectors, 8 ch audio, GbE port, 1394 port, 2 USB and 2 ESATA2 ports.
