Benchmarks

In the first test, we ran the board as it is and checked out the CPU-Z to ensure that everything is running correctly. We took the benchmarks and compared it with 2 other DDR3 modules that we have on hand.

As we can see, CPU-Z detects it as CAS 7-7-7-20. Memory benchmark. Buffered returns 5716/5716  MB/s which is what you would normally get from a DDR3-1066 memory module running on a E6300.

From the CPU-Z screen capture, we can see that the memory is running at a multiplier of 4x. that is CPU at 266MHz, RAM is at 4x 266= 1066MHz.

Further tests were done with a QX6700 processor. Will CAS 7  give you results similar to CAS 6 of the GEIL memory module ?  We benchmarked them and the results can be seen on next page.
