Benchmarks
In the
second round of tests, we use the common benchmarks we run on the HD2600XT to
benchmark the board with the two different set of ram. Here are our findings.
3Dmark05 and 3Dmark06 results give an instant boost. In 3Dmark05, the difference is as much as 400 points in the score. That translates to around 4%. The same can be said for 3Dmark06, the difference is as high as 8%. In PCMark05, it seems that running it didn't give us better results. That is quite a surprise for us.
In DOOM3, Riddick and Fear, these 3 games, we did not see much of a change in the results. the 3 games give very similar results.
