This full ATX mainboard comes with 2 PCI and 3 full length PCIe x16 slots. Although they are full length slots, they're electrically PCIe x16 (white) and PCIe x 8 (yellow). To run SLI, just slot in the two cards in the white slots. There are 2 x PCIe x1 slot which you can use for tv cards or other peripherals cards. Behind the PCI / PCIe slot are the audio codec, GbE and I/O controller chipsets. The 24+4 pin power connectors are right behind the CPU and north bridge. The SATA connector at the rear is for connecting to the eSATA port by chaining it up with the orange SATA port at the bottom left of the mainboard.

At the bottom corner of the board, we can see the BIOS, front panel 1394 (red) and USB connector (blue). Below the CMOS battery is 4 SATAII ports managed by the NF 430 south bridge. the VIA VT6308S 1394 controller sits right below the 3 PCI slot.

Moving towards the centre of the board is the North bridge NF 680i that supports the FSB1600 CPU. There are 4 DIM slots support 4 DIMMs of up to a total of 8GB of DDR2-800.

The back panel consists of PS/2 mouse/keyboard, Com1, LPT1, eSATA, 4 USB, 1 GbE, 1 1394 and 7.1 ch audio ports.
