The ASRock M3A785GXH/128M is the ATX version of the M3A785GMH/128M. It also incorporates a 4+1 phase power that supports the new AM3 processors.

The board comes with 2 PCI, 3 full length PCIe 2.0 slots which can be configured to work in a single PCIe x16 or Dual PCIe x 8 for CrossFire X. There is an additional 1 x PCIe x1 slot. Behind the slots are the audio codec, GbE chipset. At the centre beneath the heatsink is the AMD 785G north bridge. Besides the heatsink is the 128M of DDR3 sideport memory. Next to the orange PCIe slot is the VIA 1394 controller chip.

On the right bottom of the board are 4 DIMM slots supporting 4 x DDR3-1333 (oc to DDR3-1600) (max 16GB in total). Below it is the 24 pin connector, a IDE slot. The south bridge is on it's left and there are 6 SATA II ports, 5 red + 1 orange. The orange slot is meant for hooking up a SATA cable to the orange port behind the HDMI port as eSATA.

 


The back panel consists of PS/2 keyboard, D-Sub, DVI-D, HDMI, eSATA, 6 USB, 1 GbE, S/PDIF optical and audio channel ports.
