Mainboard Layout of Biostar TA785GE 128M  AMD 785G+SB710

The Biostar TA785GE 128M is a mATX mainboard supporting the AM3 socket type.

The board comes with 2 PCI, 1 full length PCIe 2.0 x16 slot. Behind the slots are the audio codec, GbE chipset. At the centre beneath the heatsink is the AMD 785G north bridge, the heatsink also covers the 128M of sideport memory.

On the right bottom of the board are 4 DIMM slots supporting 4 x DDR2-1200/1066 of ram. The power connector is right below it. Next to it is the IDE connector and 6 SATAII ports supported by the South bridge SB710. We can also see the color front panel connectors, power and reset switches.

 


The back panel consists of PS/2 keyboard, D-Sub, DVI-D, 4 USB, 1 GbE and audio channel ports.
