I just love the black PCB. Anything on a black PCB looks outstanding.

From the top left hand corner, we can see the 2 yellow PCIe x1, 1 PCI (covered by sticker) and 2 PCIe full length slots. Behind it are the chipsets responsible for audio (realtek alc888), esata (JMB363) and GbE (2x8111C, the other is right next to the turning point of the heatpipe).

To the right is the MOSFETs with LGA1366 right below. There are 6 DDR3 DIMM slots that takes in triple channel DDR3-1333. Below it is the 24 pin power connector.

To the left is the ICH10R responsible for the 6 SATAII ports with RAID 0,1,0+1,5 functions. There is a DEBUG led next to the SATA II ports. I find it nice that ECS actually puts in push buttons for both Power On/OFF and RESET button. That is a pretty neat feature. In fact, at the rear panel, there  is a clear cmos switch. To the left are the external connectors for USB, 1394 brackets. The VIA chipset responsible for 1394 function is right below the right coloured PCIe slot.

The back panel consists of PS/2 mouse/keyboard, Clear CMOS switch (red cooured), 2 eSATA ports, 1394, 2 x GbE, 6 USB ports and  7.1 ch audio ports and digital S/PDIF port.
