Once you get connected to the HotSpot, you as the administrator can configure how the device should work. That includes configuring the passwords, the WEP keys etc.

Enter http://VodafoneMobileBroadband.Hotspot or http://192.168.1.1 into the address window of your web browser, and press the Enter or Return key. Enter the default password “admin” into the Login window in the upper right corner of the screen and click Login.

When status is clicked, it will show you the status of the device. We can see that the SSID is VadafoneMobileHotspotC972 and 1 out of 5 devices are connected using WEP 128 bits key. Click Display key to check the key.

In WLAN Profile, you can edit the Wireless LAN Profile to change the WEP type, channel, encryption etc.

Alternatively, you can also secure the network by only allowing certain MAC address users to access the hot spot. Enter up to 5 devices MAC address in the filter list.

You can enable/disable SSID broadcast.

When the INTERNET tab is clicked, it shows the internet status including the network name, profile, received data, transmitted data, connected time. Router IP address are also shown.

Over here you can configure the APN profile. In this case for mobileone, the APN is sunsurf.

SIM lock

Internet Diagnostic shows you the information about the device.
