Sony Ericsson Vivaz and X10 mini

The Xperia 10 comes in 3 versions, the original Xperia X10, the X10 mini and a X10 mini pro. The three phones are all powered by Android 1.6 which will most likely get an update to Android 2.1 by Q3 this year.

The Xperia X10 was announced Nov last year. It is powered by 1GHz QualComm SnapDragon processor and features a 4" capactive screen. It features the new UX (User experience) platform which lets consumers organiser everything and discover more with an open human and intuitive users experience with MediaScape and TimeScape.

The Mediascape allows you to access music , photos and videos you want from your favourite friends and artists. It accesses content from everywhere , your phone , Youtube, playNow and presents everything for you. TimeScape on the other hand manages your communications with one in one place, Browse through your conversations, facebook, twitters, photos, emails all at one location tied to the person.

The 3 phones all feature the Sony Ericsson's signature applications and a customisable UX platform. Both X10 mini and mini pro also features the Timescape which brings communications into one place based on time line. It has a four corner control for applications, calls, web and configurable "button". It also comes with a 5 megapixel camera and access to android market.

The Vivaz and Vivaz Pro are quite similar in specifications. Both can record video in HD 720p. The later has a 5.1 mega pixel camera and a full slide out keyboard.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz will go on sale this Thursday in conjunction with IT Show 2010. The other phones will be available in Q2 2010.
