WinFast 755FXK8AA-8EKRS SiS 755FX Mainboard Review 2/7
Bluetooth 22 Nov 2004

Benchmarks

Front Side Bus is still a valid and important criteria when judging systems performance. We measured the FSB and found that the board runs exactly at 200.00Mhz FSB. CPU Used : Athlon FX-53 2.4GHz with 2 x 256MB Kingston DDR400 modules.

*note : the Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-9 is NF4 Ultra PCI-E based and runs on 2 x 512M and uses a 6600GT graphics card as the test platform. It is put here for comparison purposes.

Next we used a pair of Kingston modules, forced it to CAS 2, 11-3-2 and ran Sandra memory benchmarks and other benchmarks. From what we can see, the WinFast 755FXK8AA scored 6002/6042. Looks like the ram timings can be tune more aggressively if not for the 2.7v voltage requirement of the RAM modules.
