ASrock surprised
us again as the first manufacturer to deliver a board based on the well
anticipated integrated core chipset - C51G or
nVidia GeForce 6100 chipset. This is a brand new chipset with
a integrated video and it is Nvidia's answer to ATi RS480/482 solutions for the
AMD K8 platform.
The C51G has an
integrated programmable SM 3.0 DX9 graphics processor. It supports the SM 3.0
vertex and pixel processors, CineFX 3.0 architcture, Intellisample AA
technology. It has an integrated 300MHz DAC for external desktop displays. The
north south pair supports HT of up to 1GHz. and a PCIe 16 lane link interface
for external graphics card. It has a programmable block synthesizer and comes in
25mm x 25mm 1.0mm ball pitch BGA packaging. It has a

comes in mATX form fact and supports the
Socket 754 for 64-bit AMD Athlon 64 and 32-bit/64-bit
Sempron processors. It is capable of HT of 1GHz and
AMD Cool 'n' Quiet Technology. The Integrated NV44
graphics DX9.0 VGA, Pixel Shader 3.0 has a max. shared
memory 128MB. The board supports only 2 DIMM slots up to 2GB,
It has PCI Express x16 slot for VGA interface ,PCI
Express x1 slot. There are also 2 ports of Serial ATA
II 3.0Gb/s, RAID 0, 1, JBOD, 2 ATA133 IDE ports. Audio wise
it has 7.1 Channel Superior Quality Audio, 10/100 Ethernet LAN ASRock 8CH
I/O: 4 ready-to-use USB2.0 ports, 7.1 channel audio jack.
The hybrid booster supports some basic overclocking features. The Dimm voltage
has 4 levels now for selection.
