Handspring Treo 180 (3)
Overclocker 8 May 2002

The model we are reviewing is the Treo 180 which is the keyboard edition of the 180 series. The other model which uses the graffiti input method is Treo 180g.

The Treo 180 comes in a standard package of items. They are the device itself, a supporting CDROM which consists the synchronising software, a ear piece for answer your phone calls (you can of course lift up the cover and answer your calls, probably attract lots of girls and geeks watching you :) There is also the sync cable which connects the treo thru to your USB port on your notebook or PC.

As Treo 180 is not just a PDA, it is also a dual band phone (GSM900/1800 for Asia Pacific) and (GSM900/1900 for US). If you wish to use the wireless mode for connecting to the Web, install your GSM card into the slot below. There is a RESET pinhole which could be used to reset it to factory defaults.
