OneNote 2003

Gone are the days of using pen pencil and paper to jot down notes during lectures. OneNote is going to change all that. In the demonstration held at the lunch meeting we had with Microsoft. SMU's staff demonstrates a teaching session at the campus using tablet pc.

OneNote works on TabletPC as well on PCs. What it does basically is allowing users to actually scribble on tablet pcs, highlight important points as in meetings and to share them among the users for brainstorming. Users can also review the piece and disseminate the correct edition to all.

In our example, we used our sample HTML file, cut and paste it into OneNote and highlighted possible scores and pointed out mistakes in the text. This is especially useful in project collaboration across continents.
