Our Review of the board

The BIOS offers many options in the DRAM Configuration. As most users uses different kind of ram sticks, some of these settings will affect the overall performance of the board. These settings are usually indicated as AUTO. They might be set to defaults which is for maximum compatibility as it would be more relaxed and you can overclock further.

Initially, we set the ram timings to CAS 2, 5-2-2. We noticed the scores of Q3 to be around 365fps which is lower than my expectations. I spent some time and checked out this two options. R/W Queue Bypass and 32 Byte Granularity. Through trial and error, setting R/W Queue Bypass to 16x and 32 Byte Granularity to Enabled (4 bursts) improved our Q3 benchmarks from 365 fps to 375fps, a jump of 10fps.(2.73%).

We gathered that there might be other options that can help tweak the performance based on ram chipsets. If you are experimenting with these settings and found it to improve performance, feel free to drop us a mail and we can add your experiences here in this guide.
