UT2K3:
This gaming benchmark was develop by HardOCP and is based on the game Unreal Tournament 2003. The settings used are 1024x768 resolution and highest detail.

The X800 Pro easily outperforms all the other cards by a whopping 30 to 40 fps.

Quake III:

Quake III is a classic game benchmark. Though the game is a bit dated, it still remains popular among gamers and this test allows us to test raw  OpenGL performance of the cards.

Strangely enough, the X800 Pro is defeated here by the GeforceFX 5950 : the GeforceFX 5950 has the lead over the new X800 Pro by nothing less than 22 fps. Granted, all the cards here perform over 200 fps and this doesn't make much of a difference in this case, but these results shows that nVidia still has the lead in OpenGL titles.

Final Fantasy XI:

As far as modern games go, Final Fantasy XI isn't incredibly demanding. However, it is one of the best looking massively online role playing games currently available, and that is why I thought of including it in this review. To calculate the performance of each card, this benchmark runs through a series of game scenes using a number of characters and environments from the game itself in a time limit, the end result being the number of frames successfully rendered.

Under Final Fantasy XI, the X800 Pro once again takes the lead. Surprisingly, it is quite close to the performance of the Radeon 9800XT.

Overclocking:

The card seems to overclock rather well and I could reach clock speeds of both 500Mhz for both the core and the memory without encountering any visual artifacts.

As a result, I obtained a score of 19542 in 3D Mark 2001 instead of 18502.
