Ash 31 Aug 2006

You probably have read our review of the ASRock ALiveNF4G-DVI, one of the first boards to be AMD ALive Ready. Ash brings together his electronics knowledge and brings us his vcore and vdimm mod.

Let's do the Vdimm first.

To increase the Vdimm, solder a ~51kOhms variable resistor to the points marked on the photo. Don't forget to set it at the maximum resistance before connection! Adjust the resistance gradually (switch off the board just in case) until your multimeter readings shows the voltage you want.
