Introduction
AGEIA PhysX PPU retail cards are now available for consumers to
buy, following its OEM launch with partners such as Dell and Alienware.
Currently Asus & BFG are the only 2 companies making Aegia PhysX
cards. Asus supplied us with a shipping retail boxed hardware which we
are going to review today.
The box is pretty big given that the actual card is just about the size
of an old Radeon 8500 or Geforce 3 card). The Asus software bundle is
quite generous and consist of a driver CD, Ghost Recon Advanced
Warfighter(Retail), Cell factor(Demo) and SwitchBall(Demo). Also
included is an Asus CD wallet, a molex Y cable extension & a manual.
