DOOM 3

In DOOM3, we take take a look at various AA + AF combinations of the 8800GTX versus the ATi X1950 XTX. It is not difficult to see that running at stock gives us an impressive score of 201.4fps at the resolution of 1600x1200. So far, I haven't seen any cards that has exceeded 120fps at defaults. With full 16xQ AA + 16xAF, we are still able to get 54.5 fps and 71.6 at 8xQAA+ 4x AF. Now you can play a game with full AA and AF turned on without suffering a cut in frame rates.
